WRISE drives the transition to an equitable energy future by championing the advancement of ALL women across the renewable and sustainable energy industries.

WRISE is powered by a dedicated team and volunteers who are committed to accelerating the transition to a sustainable and equitable energy future for all.

Headquartered in Brooklyn, NY the WRISE team works hard every day to lift up the voices from across the WRISE network to help change our energy future.

Our Mission: WRISE Indigenous Peoples Chapter aims to amplify the voices of ALL Indigenous women in the renewable energy space, while honoring cultural and traditional land stewardship practices.

Our Vision: WRISE Indigenous Peoples Chapter envisions an Indigenous-led energy future rooted in sovereignty, sustainability, safe communities, and shared responsibility to Earth.

We are proudly part of WRISE network as the first-ever affinity chapter, centering Indigenous women and communities. The WRISE Indigenous Peoples Chapter (iWRISE) membership is open to individuals enrolled in a federally-recognized Tribe, American Indian, Alaska Native, First Nations, Inuit, Métis, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, or other Indigenous peoples worldwide including descendants (self-identified or otherwise identified).
